Trinity House was founded in 1515 and relies on its assets and the levying of dues on ships visiting British ports. Trinity House works with Northern Lighthouse Board for Scotland and Commissioner for Irish Lights for Ireland. All 3 covering the British Isles – “a term we might use more to describe this extraordinary archipelago that is our Country and Ireland” says Mr Hunter, Coltraco Ultrasonics, CEO (pictured).

Mr Hunter, described the evening as “wonderful” to be onboard the 3400 dwt vessel designed to find, maintain and re-install Navigational Aids around the Coast of England, Wales, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles, and Gibraltar.

Trinity House is a charity dedicated to safeguarding shipping and seafarers, providing education, support and welfare to the seafaring community with a statutory duty as a General Lighthouse Authority to deliver a reliable, efficient and cost-effective aids to navigation service for the benefit and safety of all mariners. “We’ve played a major role in UK and international maritime safety for over 500 years”.
