Much of the equipment that we manufacture and supply requires re-calibration either annually or after a usage period. For equipment manufactured by Coltraco, we recommend annual recalibration and this has to be carried out in the UK. We will always ensure that units are away for recalibration for as short a time as possible and we aim to have the unit returned to you within a maximum of 10 working days, no matter where in the world our customers are.
If required, replacement loan units can be made available for the duration that your unit is away for recalibration.
If your unit has been damaged whilst operating, we can have it repaired for you. This will have to be carried out in our facilities in the UK and time scales for unit returns may vary depending on the severity of problem. If your unit has been damaged please contact our Support Department with a brief description of the problem and we will organise this for you as quickly as we can.
We offer a variety of training schemes for all of the equipment that we manufacture. With every unit we supply, we include Operating Instructions, which include the vast majority of information that is required to use the equipment.
If you would like some additional training on any of our equipment we can offer one-on-one tutorials. These are carried out in an ‘over-the-phone’ format with one of our specialists on an individual piece of equipment.
If you are a user of the Portascanner II, we have our online Interactive Training micro site for Technical assistance. To request a user name and password, please contact the Support Department.
When you purchase Coltraco equipment, we guaranty our equipment for 3 years. Any electrical failures to the equipment in this time, we will repair or replace free of charge. At the end of three years when the Warranty period has expired there is another option available, to extend this warranty period, what we refer to as our "Total Care Package".
The Total Care package begins from the end of the Warranty Period and lasts through for an additional 3 years after the unit has been purchased. This guaranties that any electrical failures to your equipment will be repaired or replaced at no extra cost. This package has been put in place to reduce any inconvenience to the customer and shows the confidence that we have in the longevity and reliability of our equipment.

If one of your ancillary items such as a sensor, receiver, generator or another part has been damaged, we have all of these parts available in stock and will be happy to supply these as required.
Whilst Coltraco Limited is primarily a manufacturing company, we also work with a number of the world’s leading manufactures for other products to provide our customers with additional equipment they may require.
