The Commercial Shipping market has always been the focus for Coltraco Limited and the equipment that we design. When the company was founded, many of the first generation models of our equipment was initially designed in conjunction with leading vessel operators, to fulfill requirements that were not yet catered for in the global market place.

Our Product range is very much based around the requirements of the Maritime Sector. Our customers include Ship Owners, Managers & Operators, Navies, Marine Surveyors, Port Authorities, Towage & Salvage Operators, Shipyards and Service Stations. Over the years and inspired by the requests we receive from our customers, we have diversified and developed a Second Product Line of items that we do not manufacture, but are commonly required on a day to day basis. Such equipment includes a range of Gas Monitors, Drug & Alcohol Testers and Cargo Monitoring equipment such as Thermometers, Hydrometers, and Moisture Meters. For this equipment we work with many of the world’s leading OEM’s in their specific fields, to supply equipment that is only of the highest quality and reflects the quality of equipment manufactured by Coltraco.

The principle aim of all the equipment designed and manufactured by Coltraco Limited is to provide an accurate and efficient method of carrying out common safety & Survey procedures. We were the first company in the world to invent non-invasive ultrasonic methods of checking the watertight integrity of any seal and liquid level indication, the latter principally used in checking cylinder content for fire suppression systems.

Throughout our 20 year history, we have retained our position of being leaders in our field within the Marine industry and we continue to develop as a company to maintain this position.
