Throughout the history of Coltraco Limited, we have had extensive and continuous experience in working with and supplying numerous Government Organizations & Defence forces around the globe.

Our equipment is basically designed to provide Defence, and especially Naval forces, with an effective and low cost in-house capability that would otherwise too expensive and impractical to maintain in house. These capabilities are focused upon Safety & Survey applications and deal with some incredibly important areas such as the maintenance of watertight & air tight seals and fire suppression systems surveying.

Throughout our history we have been on numerous trials all around the world to demonstrate our equipment to various armed forces and to show how are equipment works, the ease a user can be trained to use our equipment and the hugely cost effective benefits they can bring to the maintenance and safety aspects of an organisation. Our equipment has never failed to pass a Trial and we have many units currently in operation in Naval and Defence Organizations around the globe.

One specific example of these benefits is found with our Portascanner II, an Ultrasonic Watertight Integrity Tester, a unit capable of checking any watertight or airtight seal for any areas where the seal is broken. This equipment is especially popular with Naval forces for checking the numerous watertight compartment doors on a ship or submarine, holds hatches, cable transits and watertight flanges on board. In addition to this, the Portascanner II can be used to check the vital NBC (Nuclear Biological and Chemical warfare) and CW (Chemical Warfare) seals to ensure they are secure.

We are very familiar with the complex nature of working with Defence forces and the length of time a Project can take to develop. We are always keen to enter into new Challenges with defence forces and happy to travel out the local country to carry out demonstrations whenever we are requested.
